Terms of use
What you can expect from Tourload, and what it expects of you. Written to be read rather than skipped.

What the figures are
Tourload calculates cargo weight, centre of mass and per-axle loads from the dimensions, weights and vehicle profile you enter. They are engineering estimates from your numbers. They are not measurements.
They do not replace a weighbridge, a plated weight, or the driver’s own check before moving. If a case weighs more than you told us, every figure downstream is wrong, and the software has no way to know.
Example vehicle profiles are indicative and drawn from published figures. Copy one, correct it against the actual plate, and mark it verified before relying on it. The product shows you which profiles have been checked and which have not, because that distinction matters more than any other feature.
You remain responsible for the safety and legality of any load. Nothing produced here transfers that to us.
Who we are
Tourload is truck load planning software for touring production and live events, operated from the United Kingdom. “We” and “us” mean the operator of the service; “you” means the person or business using it.
Your account
You need an account to save work. Keep your password to yourself — we treat anything done from your account as done by you. Tell us promptly if you think somebody else has access.
You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and if you are using this for a company you must be entitled to agree to these terms on its behalf.
Your work stays yours
Your case libraries, vehicle profiles, truck packs, logos and company details belong to you. We claim no ownership of them. We store and process them to run the service for you, and for nothing else — we do not sell them, and we do not use them to train anything.
You grant us only the permission needed to operate the product: to store your content, show it back to you and to people you invite, and include it in the plans and exports you ask us to produce.
People you invite
On Pro you can bring collaborators onto a production at no charge. They see the productions or individual trucks you put them on, and nothing else in your account — not your case library, not your other tours.
Inviting somebody means sharing that production’s contents with them, and you are responsible for who you invite. You can remove anybody at any time. A collaborator’s own work, on their own productions, needs their own subscription.
On Pro you can also create a read-only share link for a single pack. Anyone with that link can open the load plan — the same driver document you print — without an account. Opening it does not use a seat. You are responsible for who you send it to.
Paying, and stopping
Prices are shown on the pricing page in US dollars and include any tax. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
If you are outside the US, Stripe converts that price into your own currency at the checkout and charges you in it. Stripe sets the exchange rate and it includes a currency conversion fee of roughly 2–4%, which is paid by you and received by Stripe rather than by us. You can choose to pay in US dollars instead at the checkout; your bank’s own rate and fees would then apply. Renewals are taken in whichever currency you chose.
Payment is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
You can cancel at any time from your profile, including during a trial. Cancelling stops the next payment; it does not refund the period you are in. A trial that is not cancelled becomes a paid subscription at the price stated when you started it, and we will email you before that happens.
If you stop paying, nothing is deleted
Your packs, case libraries and vehicle profiles stay exactly where they are. They lock — you cannot open or change a pack — but you can still see what you have and delete anything you no longer want. Subscribe again and everything opens as you left it.
This is a deliberate promise and we intend to keep it. It is not a commitment to store data indefinitely if you ask us to remove it, or if the service closes — see below.
Fair use
Please do not:
- share one account between people who each need their own
- try to break, overload or work around the limits of the service, or access parts of it you have not been given
- upload anything unlawful, or anybody else’s material you have no right to use
- resell or rebrand the product as your own without an agreement
We may suspend an account that does these things. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why first.
Availability
We work to keep the service running and do not promise it never breaks. There will be maintenance, and occasionally faults. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and you should not plan a load-out on the assumption that a website will be reachable — export the plan.
Where we stand on liability
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow to be limited.
Beyond that, and given what the figures are: we are not liable for loss arising from decisions taken on the basis of estimates produced from data you supplied. That includes fines, delays, refused loads, impounded vehicles, damage to equipment and lost bookings.
Our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to what you paid us in that period.
Changes
We may change these terms as the product changes. If a change materially affects you we will tell you by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
If we ever close the service, we will give you reasonable notice and a way to export your work before anything is removed.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not take away rights you have where you live.
